Chuck Pagano Named Colts Head Coach

Wednesday the Indianapolis Colts hired Chuck Pagano, the Ravens defensive coordinator, as their new head coach. The first time head coach will be introduced in a press conference Thursday.
This is a good move for the 2-14 Colts, a team that was 25th in the league in total defense. Yet, it could be a difficult job for Pagano, coaching a franchise with a questionable future. The Colts franchise player Peyton Manning has not played a down this season, due to a serious neck injury. It is unsure if Manning will return or if the Colts will press restart with their number one draft pick. No matter what happens Pagano seems up to the challenge.
“It’s difficult to leave the Ravens but I couldn’t pass up on this great opportunity,” Pagano said in a statement released by the Ravens. “I’m just thrilled and so excited.”
