Battery gets Jordan Jefferson cut from team

In the most recent NCAA football news Louisiana State University (LSU) will be losing their starting quarterback Jordan Jefferson indefinitely, just a week before their season opener. Jordan Jefferson was suspended indefinitely after the Baton Rouge police issued an arrest warrant for himself and linebacker Josh Johns. Both players, Jefferson and Johns were both charged with second-degree battery after kicking a Marine in the face after a large fight outside of a bar in Baton Rouge. The Baton Rouge police searched Jefferson’s home and seized 49 pairs of shoes, and found a pair with blood stains on them. Jefferson is cooperating with authorities during the investigation.
The LSU Tigers are currently ranked number 4 of the pre-season poll for the upcoming season. Jefferson’s career stats will end with 3,996 yards passing, 28 passing touchdowns, 9 rushing touchdowns, 755 rushing yards, and 18 interceptions. [Read More]

It ought to come as no surprise that the Boston Celtics were eliminated by the Miami Heat. All year the Heat spoke about the Celtics’ team chemistry like it was some insurmountable obstacle. Miami was aware of how difficult it is to defeat a team that has the edge in that department. Since a team develops chemistry over the course of time the Miami Heat had no answer. That is until the Boston Celtics made it easy for them.

The Wild Wild West, pt.1

If Dallas thinks they’re gonna win another NBA Championship next year then the Mavericks better think again. Because the west just gets harder to win. So regardless of what happens in the east, the race to win the west will still be the wildest.

The Dallas Mavericks to begin with just won the NBA Championship. The champs through a trade were able to get/obtain swingman Rudy Fernandez. Not mention Caron Butler returns from injuries next season. Also, the work they’ve done in the draft to improve at the center position. So even though it gets harder for the Mavericks, it doesn’t get easier for the rest of the west.
