Syracuse Beats West Virginia After Refs Miss Goaltending Call

Syracuse beat the West Virginia Mountaineers 63-61 in a controversial ending. The play in question came with about 13 seconds left in the game. Darryl ‘Truck’ Bryant attempted a three with the Mountaineers down 63-61, that resulted in an air ball. West Virgina’s F Deniz Killcli put up a lay-up to tie the game which was blocked by Syracuse player Baye Keita. Keita block came after the ball already hit the backboard which is supposed to called a goaltending. The refs missed a call that costed West Virginia from tying the game and possible winning it.
