In all likelihood Tracy McGrady has played his last game of his NBA career. The 7x NBA All-Star, Tracy McGrady, has signed a one year deal with the Qingado Eagles in the Chinese Basketball Association.
Favorite Moments
Tracy McGrady was my favorite NBA player growing up. Here are some of my favorite moments from his career.
Career High 62 Pts. Against Wizards
On March 3, 2010 McGrady scored a career high 62 points in Orlando against the Washington Wizards. His final stat line was 62 pts, 10 rebs, 5 ast and 1 stl. Thats just a crazy stat line that shows his all around skills.
13 Pts. In 35 Seconds
This game was played on The greatest late come back I have witnessed in my life. T-Mac makes 4 difficult threes including a four point play. And to make this much sweeter it was against a great defense, the Spurs.
T-Mac Puts Shawn Bradley On A Poster
This dunk took place in game 2 of the first round of the 2005 playoffs, when the Rockets meet the Mavericks in Dallas. McGrady drove base line and got past his defender and rose up and over Bradley for the dunk.
NBA Legacy
Despite his immense talent and one of the most exciting players the NBA has seen, Tracy McGrady won’t be considered when talking about the greats of basketball.
Tracy McGrady has a unique skill set that allows him to do a lot on the court. T-Mac is most known as a prolific scorer, as a 2x scoring champ he could score from anywhere on the court. Inside or outside he can hurt teams either way. He was one of the most exciting scorer in the league for quite some time. He could handle the ball like a point guard and his passing was truly underrated. In addition he was a very able defender.
McGrady’s career was plagued by injuries and playoff failures. He was a 7x All-Star but his career never took off like it should have. I believe he had the skills set to be a hall of fame player. And, beating out Kobe to be the best player of his generation.
